Haiti History Youth Dinner 2024
In February, we organized a grand celebration in honor of Black History Month. It was an evening to remember as we explored the significant contribution of Haiti to the United States. The event was a huge success, and we were overwhelmed by the overwhelming response and support from the community.
We had the pleasure of showcasing the rich culture, tradition, and history of Haiti through various performances. Our guests were treated to live music, traditional dances, and beautiful art displays. The atmosphere was filled with energy and positivity as we celebrated the diversity and richness of the African American community.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the delicious food that was served. We had the pleasure of offering our guests a taste of authentic Haitian cuisine, and it was a hit among everyone. Various dishes, such as griot banan peze, and pikliz, were served, and our guests couldn’t get enough of it!
We were also honored to have esteemed speakers and community leaders share their knowledge and insights about the significance of Haiti’s contribution to the United States. It was truly an enlightening experience for all of us.
We are proud to say that our event was not only a celebration but also a platform for raising awareness and fostering unity among different cultures. Through this event, we were able to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the African American community’s history and heritage.
