Volunteers’ Responsibilities and Duties
All hours are flexible and available Wednesday – Sunday from 11 am – 7 pm.
Social Media Manager – Will manage all C2I social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
- Develop and expand community and/or influence outreach efforts
- Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation
- Monitor online reviews and respond to each review
- Oversee design (ie: Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter, Instagram, Go Fund Me, blog, etc.)
Editor – You must have experience in developing and editing content as well as excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include:
- Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax
- Organize, modify and update existing content
- Verify content information
- Represent C2I at meetings and press events
Photographer – Well-organized and self-motivating photographer to capture memorable moments. Responsibility includes:
- Creative, with an eye for detail
- Manage monthly calendar of events
- Attending all C2I events as needed
Event Planner – Will arrange formative plans on creating and hosting C2I events. Responsibilities include:
- Arrange events
- Creating budget for events
- Communication of all budgets
- Preparing and executing a detailed outline of event needs
- Arranging meeting space, lodging for guest, food, drink, music, and visuals for events
- Breaking time and cleaning of event space
Development Director – Will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all C2I fundraising. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate fundraising special events
- Make public appearances/ accept speaking engagement to share information about the C2I to the community
- Oversee fundraising database and tracking systems
- Oversee creation of publications to support fundraising activities
Outreach Director – Will create and manage a variety of outreach initiatives designed to increase awareness of C2I. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare outreach presentation for events
- Maintain donor database
- Maintain list of phone calls for partnering organizations
- Assist and coordinate with various departments to develop website
- Administer and update all webpage documents and monitor websites
